Excel is not a part of Windows XP, it is part of Microsoft Office.

Microsoft Works also has a spread sheet, just not as powerful as the one in Office.

The default directory for excel is:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\excel.exe

Copy and paste that in internet explorer and hit run.
