Which one was invented first? Beer or Wine?

Who here decided that Jesus was the origin of history? There are no references to beer in the bible as far as I can recall, but there is much earlier evidence.

Wine is first thought to have been produced around 6,000 BC with the domestication of the grapevine. Beer, on the other hand, comes from grain, which is a much more staple crop and was domesticated earleir. In fact, it is now believed that the Mesopotamians were producing beer as early as 10,000 BC. The latest anthropological evidence suggests that the domestication of crops was done primarily for the production of beer (rather than bread, as was previously thought). It is unknown, however, whether or not beer predates mead (a fermented honey drink), because honey could be gathered before the domestication of bees.

So, beer is older than wine, but mead could be even older.

Beer is known to have been made 7000 years ago,it´s recorded in the written history of Ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia.
Wine seam to be mentioned first a 1000 years later, so I would say beer.

Beer was first invented in mesopotania before the rise of the egyptian empire. It was used later by the egyptians as a malt food for a quick breakfast or midday pick me up.

Since Jesus drank wine I would have to say wine. Never hear any mention of beer in the Bible. To bad for them. LOL
