-If Jesus threw His voice, does that not seem deceptive?
-If the gospels are "wrong" about this part, how can anything else in gospels be trusted?

why are people attacking and insulting me for asking this?
Gosh, I'm asking this because I DO believe in the Trinity. I just racked over the coals by another member because the Trinity was "false" and I'm trying to see how they explain things.

What? It was God the Father.
Geez, most athiests know Bible 101. The Word of God is not wrong. If you find what looks like contradictions, or if it looks like God is being unfair, or something seems confusing to you, it is only that you do not understand either the subject and object of what is being discussed, or its an idiom or hebreism, -
If you don't understand what you are reading, how in the world do you expect it to make sense?
You must think very highly of yourself if you figure that instead of it maybe being your lack of literacy - it must be that the gospels can't be trusted. Furthermore, if you are just sitting around looking for something to point fingers at, and couple that with your complete Bible illiteracy, then sure you can find all kinds of stuff to point at. But thats your ignorance, not The Word's.

This is one of the mysteries of God. You've stated you believe in the Trinity, but have you really thought about what the trinity is:
God the Father, 100% just, 100% merciful and 100% holy.
God the Son, 100% just, 100% merciful and 100% holy.
God the Holy Ghost 100% just, 100% merciful and 100% holy.
Together they comprise one God. Seperately they are each God. And this is the kicker: there was always three of them. There are many references in the old testament to "The Lord your God," I take that to be "The Lord Christ, your God the Father," but that's my interpretation of an interpretation, so take that with a grain of salt if you like. There are also references in the old testament to those with the Holy Spirit. Moses was one such person who had the Holy Spirit of God in them.
When Christ became a man, the only thing He surrendered was the place of diety. He humbled Himself by putting on a mantle of flesh. He did not loose any of His other qualities when He became a man. He added to Himself. He did not take away from Himself.
I realize this kinda rambles a little bit, but I hope it kinda explains how Christ could be God and still hear God's voice. The point of it was to give us an example of the kind of relationship we're supposed to have with God, as a whole. God is supposed to be viewed as a parent. It's one of those things that personally leaves me in awe of God.

Baptism of Jesus
Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist in the Jordan river near Bethany. Jesus was about 30 years old when he was baptized.
John the Baptist
John was reluctant to baptize Jesus, for he said "I have need to be baptized by you." John knew that Jesus was the son of God. Jesus had no need to be forgiven of sins because he was sinless.
Knowing John's reluctance, Jesus told him, "It is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness." So John obeyed Jesus and baptized him in the Jordan River.
God's response
When Jesus came up out of the water, the Holy Spirit descended as a dove, and the voice of God spoke from Heaven, saying
"This is my beloved son,
in whom I am well pleased."

God, the Father spoke. The trinity isn't a three-headed monster.
God the Father, Jesus His Son, and the Holy Spirit are ONE in "ESSENCE".
He is the Way, the Truth and the Life.
The Tuth will set you free.

God the Father's voice - the dove was the Holy Spirit - Jesus, was the Son of God, fully God and fully human. This is one verse that shows all three entities that make up the Holy Trinity - three persons, one God.

The gospels are not wrong nor did Jesus "throw his voice". It was God's voice from heaven blessing His Son to begin his mission work.
