Just wondering if there could be an underlying cause. Doctors just normally tell me it was a hair that got infected. I hardly ever get sick so I don't think my immune systems bad. any ideas??

You seem to be having skin problems, so I would think that your nutition seems to come into question.
Are you getting enough protein, Vit A, C, zinc, D, and water.
Try taking a multi vitamin and extra C and perhaps your skin will improve.

I don't have your medical chart and anything said would be pure guesswork. Get a check up with blood work and have them check your blood sugar for sure. Chronic Staphylococcus infections are serious. If your MD. does not think so get another. Do you work in a hospital? How do you know they were Staph? Did they make cultures?

Get some Bacitracin or other antibiotic oint and put a thin layer inside your nose at night. This will help keep infections down.

have regular intake of vitamin c, this will help strengthen the capillaries in your periorbital area, thus help to attack infection, if weak capillaries then no white blood cells channel, though you have good immune system that would mean nothing because they have no portal or channel.
