I caught it when I was 7 and I fought with my cousin over it. She was of marrying age and was begging me to let her have it, and I wouldnt let go. I always felt badly because of that.

I caught the boquet . I wasn't the next one to get married, but I am getting married this May though. So I guess it works.

Nope. I've been to two weddings. Both times some little girl (under 12) caught it. Bad sign.

No, but I caught the garter at my ex-gf's wedding.
Got married 8 years later.

Yes, I was 13. My cousin caught the garter and then had to put it on me. I was soooooo embarressed

nope sadly the only wedding I remember going to I was too small to catch it, then I was in my own...then the ones I've been to since I can't catch it. What's even sadder is the first wedding I was in was my own!
