Watch a lot of movies and listen carefully to the accent, you can do the same with songs, tv programs, news. Reading out loud in English also helps. Another very useful thing would be spending a month or more in an English speaking country, so that you can really get used to the accent. Good luck!

An English Dictionary?
Or of course you could ask away on Yahoo Answers! Hmmm. Not sure how much sense you would get though!
Watching TV is a fairly good idea, but the problem with that is the very different accents! The Irish for example might say that the ball boynsed (bounced)! A lot of Londoners don't say ball - they say something like baww! This would not be good pronnunciation to copy.
So it sounds like you might just have to continue as you are and just keep repeating yourself until someone understands! Personally I think anyone who can speak other languages is really clever, so a few mistakes with pronouncing words is not important!

My father came to this country when he was 27 and he would get so frustrated when people didn't understand what he said so I can empathize with you ....
Pronunciation is improved by singing. Memorize your favourite songs and sing in the shower or anywhere ... Go to singing classes where they practice A,E,I, O, U sounds ...or do it yourself. I don't know what nationality you are but Koreans speak at the front of their mouths so they have to learn to use their diaphragm and make a whole sound from that area ... like wise it will help you ..... when singing you learn to breath from your diaphragm and expel the sound from there ..it will give you clearer sounds. Doing the things that the other people on here suggested will help too but singing will definitely help ...

Go to a choir- singing will help you pronunciation loads. As well as watching alot of films and TV. Keep on practicing speaking English to English speakers and get them to help you, soon enough you will be fluent!

Have you looked at the phonetic alphabet? The words in the english dictionary are spelt in the phonetic alphabet after the standard spelling of the word. Sorry if I'm not making any sense I don't really know how to phrase my answer.

Listening to the radio is often the best way to better your pronunciation skills. I also noticed that some of your spelling was incorrect, you should try the "check spelling" button above the question box, it corrects the question for you. Hope I was of some help! : )

if natives do not understand you that's not because of your accent, but that you pronounce the words wrongly and they can only guess what you mean.
I have at first learned English mostly from reading and writing, no one could understand me. I studied phonetics for one month and it has done wonders! my accent is great too!

All the answers given are valid, but it would help to know what your first language is. Why? Because each language has a set of phonemes and allophones of those phonemes and, without knowing what your first language is, it's difficult to advise you specifically.
