I was engaged to someone 14 years older than me. So I would say no...not a problem. It's all about connections and what you have in common (as long as they are over 18) ;)

The older you get, the less it matters! Girls tend to appreciate boy about 2-4 years older when teens because they don't mature at the same age. Later on, often it works better if you're at the same point in life aka studies finished and working, ready to have kids or not, likes dogs, plan on traveling, ... That's why once at retirement age, it's better to plan retiring at the same time, past that, it's really only a personal question! This is my opinion, in fact I always dated between 4 years older and 2 years younger. Never changed a thing since we were both in school. Now I've been with the same person for 10 years (4 years older) and I'm quite happy ;)

love does not know age. I'm 24 and my gf of almost 5 years is 35. We are planning on getting married. Of course their are situations where certain ages are socially unacceptable. For example, most people would find a 30 year old woman and an 18 year old boy to be strange. But as time goes by, it becomes less strange. In ten years, 28 and 40 are less strange, 38 and 50 is even less. But regardless of what society's views are, anybody can fall in love with anybody: regardless of age. A 90 year old man could fall in love with a 16 year old girl. Disgusting? Most would agree. But does this invalidate his love, not in the least. So to answer your question. Yes I could fall in love with someone younger than me by 6 years if that's how I felt about them.

If you are 16-23 years old, you could have some legal issues. After this point, 6 years difference doesn't much matter much if the two are compatible. As the age increases, the age difference can increase. Don't forget, turn about is fair game. The man doesn't have to be the older one in the relationship.

age is really a secondary consideration to the maturity of both parties involved unless 1 person is a minor.
for a relationship to be successful it is more about common goals & ideals ; good communication; mutual respect & consideration
some relationships with big age differences between the couple survive the distance just as some where the couple are close in age dont
this is an age old question - in fact I recently came across an issue of a womans magazine dated Aug 1953 & that question was being asked there.

Depends on the age, like if he's 26 and you are 20..if its different from that then it would be a problem. I dont think I would fall in love with a girl thats 11 and im 17 thats just disgusting lol. It doesnt even cross my mind to even look at them because I feel disgusting to do that. But just my opinon if you both are happy then im happy for you.

I dont think it matters at all, depending on the compatibility i guess. Im a guy and somehow against going out with younger girls, not coz of the age, coz its hard to find someone so much younger that you can actually talk to on the same wavelength. So if there's a younger ones that is alright by me, i wouldnt care less.

Age should never be a problem in the 1st place but at times, the gals whom are older will feel that the guy who is younger is just not as ready as they are in a relationship.
My bf is 4 yrs younger than me and at times, I get insecurity because he don't really think how his words can hurt me. We can try to be understanding towards the younger guys but in the end, the question will still remain.. is he ready to take the relationship to the next level.

Sometimes it matters what ages you are when the relationship happens....in other words ...there are bigger gaps at a younger age, and none at all when you are older.
I married someone 8 years older and my daughter married someone almost 10 years older....works fine when you are an adult but a 10 year old can't get interested in a 20 year old....you have to wait until you are an adult....then I don't think age matters....but you both need to be adults first.

To me, age can consitude a preblem. My step-father is 25 years older than my mother. It bothers me a little knowing that my mom is old enough to be his daughter. So, 6 years doesn't seem that big of a deal. 6 years younger for me would be 19. If it was love, yes I could fall in love with someone younger than me.
