No, God didn't forget.

It's because there's no need for Him to state the obvious.

WOW- you have got to be kidding. No God did not forget this one- He actually said, that children are precious to Him, and anyone who hurts a child is WRONG.
God does not think it is right- He will judge those priests at the right time. Just because priest do it does not make it right. Did God forget the sin of abortion and every other sin? NO- God will be victorious don't you forget that.

There is, you may not have interpreted it as being specific to incest or rape, however. It is in Matthew 18:6. From the KJV it reads, "But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea"
And also in Mark 9:42-48, which is much longer.

In some translations of the Bible the word "offend" is translated as "harm" or "hurt". This does mean harming a child in any way.

The Bible specifically outlaws rape and sexual activity outside marriage. Rape is wrong no matter who the victem is and is not specifacilly against just child rape but all rape. A death sentance applies so it is unnecessary to diferentiate age of the victem for different penalties. I am unaware that the Koran does have anything to say about the subject except that it is always the victems fault, thus the rapist is protected in Islamic law.

I gather youre speaking of the Bible?

Well, maybe because where rape begins and ends differs from culture to culture.

In Islam, the word rape is not used, there are rules for sex and that includes two things: 1. you have to be legally married , 2. you have to take permission from the wife when you wish to sleep with her.

Obviously, anything outside of the law is forbidden and subject to punishment.

I reckon the Bible should say something around those lines too.

At the time the Bible is written third-teens year olds were consider of marring age and were arrange from birth or a early age.. And raping children is more of a concept of modern times than in ancient times, as a crime of this nature would not be considered. As crimes were dealt in a tough manner, if you slept with another man's wife at best would lose a hand, but more commonly death. Stealing a loaf of bread you would lose a hand.

God does not condone this but perverted people do it anyway, and God is told to mind His own buisness, isn`t this the attitude of all sinning.

yes it in the Bible and yes it is a sin and yes the rapist was to be stoned. if the girl was old enough to be married, then the rapist was made to either marry her to save her dignity or pay restitution. the Bible is very clear on rape, that it is wrong. read Leviticus.

I would hope that would not have to be written any where for anyone to know it is wrong. Maybe God thought we would have some common sense and didn't have to have it in writing.
