God always forgive, as a mater of fact God was loving her while she was sinning, God did not and it will not judge her. God is love, but the sin she has committed has consequences. She needs to watch what she wants, happiness come from doing God's will so she should know if she wants to be happy, then tell her to ask God for forgiveness, which He has already forgiven her, and follow from on His paths. Christianity is not a one day thing, is a life, a constant fight against the devil and our flesh passions and desires. "The fruits of sin is death(sadness, emptiness) and the fruits of the Holy Spirit is life."

If you dont know what the bible says, then please use the brain God gave you, its why he gave it to you. Many great minds questioned the bible, and are considered Leaders and Intellectuals because of it. If I was you, which im not, I would say its fine to be with the man now that she is divorced.
I for one, do not believe in the things a christian believes, but thier bible says you reap what you sow, which is also another word for karma. If the woman ever gets a chance to reincarnate, she will be cheated on by someone, because its the karma law.

she has committed a sin. neither bible nor any book has endorse adultery. it is both a crime and a sin. one who once get into wrong path will always tend to do that again. she is already divorce why she is trying to damage the life of another man too. she will not be happy with the man nor the man will be happy with her. its better for your friend to join the church and be a nun. if thats not possible ( as it is apparent from the story that she is not satisfied with one man) she better remain single and give service to all man.

She still loves the guy she made out with when she was married? Well, I think she should see about making it a serious relationship.

She doesn't need to worry about god, god is imaginary.
She needs to worry about the REAL world and it's consequences...

Her guilt is going to kill her, not some mythical "god". Tell her to clear her mind, and move on.
