I wouldn't be shocked at all if there really was some gov. official that spent their time monitoring different sites and opinions upon the internet. The freedom of speech that many of us take for granted, if not watched over and fought for could very well become a thing of the past.
I know that there are some studies that show that what some do upon the internet is more likely to reflect what a person really feels and thinks than what very well is coming out of a persons mouth.

Imagine that. You think i've been telling ppl that for my health? Of course not. It's funny how certain words used on here pop up in the media. Don't you think? So go figure, the one's watching us right now are actually the ones being watched. Question then becomes, who's watching both of them? Oh yes, by the way, Hi!;) Just tell the TRUTH and you have nothing to fear.

The people whining about this are the ones who had action taken against them. You've got to do something pretty bad to get your account revoked. Those people are the type that play the "victim role" and never hold themselves accountable for their actions.
I expect that what I write is monitored. I don't care. I have nothing to hide and I have no expectations.

I personally intend to do just as I have always done on this site and others.State my views with verifiable truth and facts .Nothing less that the truth always.I will not temper my comments for fear of any one or any entity. This is the USA and I as a legal American have that right. Its been bought and paid for with the blood of my ancestors, who help form this country and the men and women of our military that have fought and died to preserve that freedom.

That's nice, but what was your immigration question? Do you know how to independently research an issue, and ask an intelligent question? Bottom line, illegal immigration is a huge problem, and the more facts that are laid on the table, the better an understanding we'll have of it nationally. Time's a-wastin'...

All politicians have paid flunkies that monitor the popular blogs and message boards as a way of seeing what the people are thinking... it is cheaper than commissioning a poll.
Y!A is not exactly the cutting edge of political message boards to warrant more that just a cursory scan.

I think this site would be an excellent tool for politicians or anyone to get a view of what is being said. Of course I'm not paranoid. I grew up in a free society, so what would I fear?

I am not afraid. Our right of free speech is protected under the 1st Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. This is a Constitution that the current administration has flagrently disregarded in it's pursuit of war without end.

I fear no goverment official, the constitution is my sword and the 1st Amendment is my shield. If they cannot handle the truth, too bad. I have always spoke my mind and will continue to do so as long as I have a voice.

Yes it is true big brother is watching us. The plain truth is it no longer fitting for an American citizen to speak his or her mind without the politically correct crowd telling us how we should think and feel. It is not necessarily the "government" watching us as the political correct crowd who believe it is their duty to tell us we might hurt someones feelings. Go figure....Quite simply they can all go to hell.
