Try the moisturizing body cream from beeroyalproducts.com. They have a skin care line that is awesome. It won't leave you with that "greasy" feeling. It is very good and a little goes a LONG way.

I am 40 and have had hypothyroidism since the age of 21, I tried many products through out the years and some kinda worked then I got on bee pollen as a food supplement and started to use Bee-Luscious skincare line , I used the hydrating creme concentrate for the body and the hydrating creme for the face and my skin is incredible, everyone in my family and friend comment on the softness and that it LQQKS soft , I was even stopped a gentleman in the mall because he said my skin looked like velvet, the products do work also try your best to drink at least 8 glasses of water everyday, and look up bee pollen on beeroyalproducts.com ....good luck

ok this is going to sound weird, but it really does help.
I too have very dry skin, gets red and is extremely painful.
Avoid taking hot showers, warm showers are ok. Before you dry yourself put Vegetable oil on your dry skin. Because your pores are open when you just get out of the shower, your skin will soak up the vegetable oil right away. It does not feel greasy at all, it will not leave staines on clothes. Also, you may not feel the difference after 1st use.. It took 2 days for me to feel/see the difference. It's pretty much oder free so you wont stink lol
Oh and for dry skin on your face - try using baby oil
