Eventually...why even bother eating if that's all that you are going to ingest? No nutritional value whatsoever.

Yes, if they stuck to it and even if they ate a lot of it.
The experts say, and you can check on this, that the body uses more energy in digesting celery than it gets from the few proteins contained in it!

I think eventually you would, yes. Your body needs protein to keep functioning, not to mention a variety of other nutrients and vitamins. I would guess you could survive for several weeks though.

yes, it takes more calories to eat celery then celery already contains, its called a negative calorie food
