I am curious because we don't really have these much in the US and I want to find out what the qualifications are and how they are different than the US master's program.

I'm not to sure if this will help answer your question or not. I will certainly update/repost if I learn exactly what you are looking for. A place to check about more information is at the website below. I'm not sure what state you are located in but if you are seriously considering becomming a IB teacher, you should also find a location to teach. Not all school systems offer IB in the US. Off the top of my head only two school systems in Virgina ring bells in my head (not to say that there isn't more). Roanoke City Public Schools and Fairfax County Public Schools. I know that as far as funding the last that I heard Fairfax is among the best funded in our nation and certainly at the top among public school systems here in Virginia. What I have seen of Roanoke so far, there are beautiful schools and most all of them have been remodeled in recent years.
