Every sport is all about the money, I mean they are going to make adjustments to the cars after they see how they run and the drivers arent to thrilled with it themselves but they hav ea say and they are just going ot be open minded and give it a shot and then if they dotn like it they are going to voice their opinions and see what they can do about it, some drivers like it and others dont, I am a Jeff Gordon fan and I think I remember him saying something about him liking it alot, but if it is something that will make the drivers safer I am all for it, but the thing I dont like is that grill on the front of the car that flap or whatever that can be adjusted because they said if that comes off during a race your basically screwed and that was said by one of the announcers who was talking about the COT during the Daytona 500 testing and practices so I wonder whats all going to happen at the first race??

First thing first it is not called the car of the future. It is called car of tomorrow. If you are going to make a big deal about this at least get the name right. jeez anyways, the car of tomorrow might not be a very good thing at first but I believe more they run it and get used to it it will not be all that bad. Give it a chance and if it is not a very good move then they will not race the car of tomorrow.

UGLY! They said years ago you wouldn't be able to tell the cars apart because there would be nothing distinguishable about them and they're right. You can't tell if the car is a Dodge or a Chevy or a Ford or heaven forbid---a Toyota.
That wing is dang ugly and the front valence thing is just weird.
Message to NASCAR: don't fix it if it ain't broke!

I am not proud of it at all. NASCAR is desperate to get money, so they bring in a new car. Talk about a gimmick. I think the car is just a way for some Stocks people to get an extra buck or two.
So I think that the car is just a complete gimmick.

True, the car doesn't look all that nice. But NASCAR wanted a safer car, and that's what it is.
I'm telling you, once they start racing with them, the fans won't care, it's still racing, and NASCAR will still have that excitement that it has right now.

i dont like the idea of the car of tomorrow...i dont like change in the cars very much and thats a major change...yea the safety features in it are nice but i seriously dont like it....its not nice to look at...i like the cars the way they are now and they seem to be getting along just fine with them so why change them?

hate it. its ugly...i guess we'll see if its more safe-- but the overall look is crappy. i hate when they go and change something that doesnt even need to be fixed.
whatever. as long as there is a big 24 on the side and a big sign that says dupont, ill be watching.

they're kinda wierd lookin but i like the wing it's just that if it's bumped out of place a little, it's going to turn into an upforce wing instead of a downforce wing.

i think they are unique in the way they look.
they are also 4mph faster at daytona than the regular cup cars.i think it is also supposed to be safer than the current cup cars
