Spinach leaves are very healthy. They contain, calcium, iron, vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin E and many vital antioxidants. It is an excellent choice for your salad. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spinach)
Onions are also very healthy. "They appear to be at least somewhat effective against colds, heart disease, diabetes, osteoporosis, and other diseases and contain anti-inflammatory, anticholesterol, anticancer, and antioxidant components such as quercetin." (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Onion)
Cucumber is a good choice too. "Although less nutritious than most fruit, the fresh cucumber is still a very good source of vitamin C, vitamin K, and potassium, and also provides some dietary fiber, vitamin A, vitamin B6, thiamin, folate, pantothenic acid, magnesium, phosphorus, copper, and manganese." (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cucumber)
Tomatoes are very healthy too. "Their consumption is believed to benefit the heart. Lycopene, one of nature's most powerful antioxidants, is present in tomatoes and has been found to be beneficial in preventing prostate cancer, among other things. The greatest benefits are accrued through eating cooked tomatoes rather than raw." (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tomato)
You can eat this salad throughout the year and will get many health benefits from it.

THE ONLY THING YOU NEED TO REMEMBER IS THAT ONIONS ARE HIGH IN SUGAR CONTENT. THE REST IS COOL.
ALSO- REMEMBER THAT THE LOWER THE CALORIE COUNT THE HARDER THE BODY WORKS TO BURN IT OFF. SO BURNING OFF A CUCUMER IS ACTUALLY GOING TO BURN MORE CALORIES THEN EATING IT COST YOU. THE SPINACH IS GOOD FOR THE IRON. VIT K, ETC. AND ANYTHING GREEN AS FAR A VEGES AND SALADS GO CAN BE EATEN DAILY. REMEMBER- SALADS ARE NOT BAD FOR YOU IT'S THE ADD ONS THAT ARE- DRESSING, CROUTONS, CHEESES IN LARGE QUANTITIES .

Your combination of vegetables sounds perfect. You might want to vary the combo so that you don't get bored with it. Try adding broccoli, carrots, sugar snap peas , cauliflower etc . to your salad..
