for the first week or two you should use shampoo thats sulfate-free (theres one called freeman shine shampoo sold at ulta) because sulfate is found in alot of shampoos and can strip the color out. then after that you can just switch to a shampoo and conditioner for colored hair, I like the suave professionals color-care (if you dont want to use the sulfate-free shampoo just use a regular color treated hair one)
also when your rinsing your conditioner out, do it in cool water or if you can stand it cold, it helps seal in the conditioner to keep it shiny and healthy.

Do NOT dye it every four weeks, unless you are only touching up your roots. Everytime you re-dye it, it will get lighter. At any drugstore you can find deep conditioners. They are in jars or smaller bottles. Deep-condition your hair every couple of nights to keep your hair soft. It will help repair spit-ends and keep your hair from looking frazzled. A moisturizing shampoo and conditioner will keep it looking great too. The more moisturized your hair is, the longer the color will stay looking good. Good luck!

i might want to call the salon and ask the guy that dyed your hair. yet it really is the colour washing out. Has the colour diminished lots? if so, you may want to ***** about the colour popping out. also, even as did you dye your hair? you're meant to have it sit down in for an afternoon or 2 previously washing

I've never colored mine blue, but I have my hair colored on a regular basis. I had a hair stylist talk me into trying "Regis Design Line" shampoo and conditioner (for color-traeted hair), it worked. My hair feels normal again, feels soft. I also use "Regis Design Line" silk drops. I buy mine from "Smartstyle", located at super wal-mart. You can also find it at regis salons in the mall. I've never tried out the regis salons, only smartstyle.
