I think you should send him one and sign it "!" as well. He sent your daughter the card with the same signature so I doubt it was anything but a joke. Guess I'm failing to see the whole body image concern here.
Send him one and sign it with "!" and it will probably be some inside joke between the two of you for years to come.

That is very strange! Talk to him and ask him to explain the card he sent you, tell him that you were hurt by its message. If he picks the joke angle to justify his silliness, tell him that this was not only a bad joke, it was an atrocious one. Watch out, he might be preparing the ground to break up with you. Good luck!

Well, it really was a bit unsuitable as you're engaged. However, don't rush to judge. All men are big boys and maybe he found it funny to sent such postcard. I'd suggest that when you calm down you speak to him and let him know you weren't happy with the way he acted.

I wouldn't say it's rude he just wants to make sure that you know that it is him who sent the valentine's card you should call and thatnk nothing to cry about. I'm sure he still loves he asked you to marry him!!!!

It was probably just a mistake if he wrote it in a rush. Call him, if you want though and ask him about it. He might just have been in a rush while writing the card.
Good Luck,
Forest

Maybe it wasn't him that sent the valentine. Maybe you and your daughter have a secret admirer. Hope it all gets straightened out.

I personally think you should send one signed "!". In this card, you should write: I don't love your body-- live with that.

Was he questioning (in a joking way) whether or not you love him for his body? Ask him about it. If he's your fiance, it's doubtful that he was questioning his love for you, or vice versa.
