Yes, for two reasons:-
1. the price of scrap metal has gone through the roof so
you will make a profit if you scrap it.
2. Sell it to an Allegro owners club freak they pay silly
money for them
So you got a good deal there!

best thing to do is weigh it in at your local salvage yard for about £60 (scrap metal very high at the moment) and go down the pub with your £50 profit. The car is about the worst British car ever built so no enthusiast would touch it.

do not use the standard wheel replacement jack as this will damage the sill and make the rear fixed light window fall out ,ha-ha lol,by the way if it is a very early 70's one the wheels tend to fall off,as they say"An Al-legrows when the wheel falls off"

Yes indeed - run it till the MOT runs out and bin it...cheap motoring. I hope it is brown or beige - it isn't a REAL Allegro unless it is brown or beige you see....
