I have no religion. I study the word of Jesus from a book called the course in miracles.

The message contained in these pages has completely changed my life. It has taken me from believing in a judgmental punishing God to believing in a God that never makes any mistakes, a God that is unconditionally loving. A god who has a plan for the salvation of all of us that is going to work.

It has shown me that everyone is a precious part of what I am. It has allowed me to see everyone that I meet as a beautiful part of God deserving of my love and respect.

If your faith does not allow you to see each and every person you come in contact with as someone that you love with all of you heart then your faith is failing you miserably. This need not be.

Jesus asks that we love our neighbor, he allowed for no exception to this rule. Has your faith made this idea of love that Jesus left for us into a reality for you? If not, then why not. Was this not always the intention of our brother Jesus for us?

If your faith has not done these things for you then I suggest that you get a copy of the course in miracles and study it with me.

If you find the things that I am saying a bit hard to believe I can understand that. I have studied this material for over 7 years. At first glance the concepts it spoke of seemed at the very least, unlikely. They certainly did not match up with the formula consensus reality had given me to work out the problems that I encountered in my life. That really didn't matter to me by that time because the old formulas had not served me that well anyway.

If you are happy with everything about your life this is not a book that you need to be reading. If by chance, there are aspects of your life that seem to trouble you, then this is a book that you should be reading. If a 7 years ago you had told me that one simple book held the key to every single problem that I was faced with in my life, I would have laughed in your face, and thought that you must be a fool to say such a thing. Yet after working with the concepts that this book teaches, I feel more strongly about there ability set things right in my life than ever.

I came into this encounter with this material a jaded skeptic, who believed in nothing. I had tried, and rejected nearly every path, seeing truth in none of them. Yes, each seemed at first to be truth, but the initial lift that they gave proved not to stand the test of time. This material is different, It seeks to correct the errors in thinking that are currently causing the conflicts, and disappointment in our lives before they can happen.

It also shows the folly of approaching the idea of love from the conventionally acceptable way. That is, reserving love only for those we have judged worthy of it. It has taught me that this is not love at all, it is only judgment.

Love and blessings.

I couldn't help but read that about Allah. Muslims!
Peace???? Then why have you had nothing but war for the last thousand years???
Iran and Iraq just got out of a 8 year war of the bloodest kind.
Between two Muslim religions. Over a million died and it ripped apart their countries and it was a pirate victory. In other words nobody won.
Afganistan was in a war with Russia, it almost broke the Russians between there sucide bombers and jihadists.
Millions died again. Remember during this time no USA was involved.
You did it all on your own.
You bombed the embassy in Africa, the worst genocide in the history of the world has happened in Samolia guess what USA is not involved in that one either. Neither was there any Jews involved it was all Islamic religion. Goggle it, winkip, or history books what ever you use to learn about history.
More muslims are killed by other muslims than by any other nation. Be it USA, UK, Jews, or any body else.
From the crusades to the World Trade Center to the current bombing in Baghdad, Islamic religion is doing it to other members of their religon.

I believe most religions started out as stories and legends that people told one another to comfort each other in times of hardship and persecution. They had no control in their own lives and lived hard miserable short existences that they wanted desperately to believe that there was something better after this life. Then power hungry evil men got involved and seen organized religion as a way to control the masses and gain complete 'divine power' over the people, simply cuz they are holy men who are closer to the 'lord' then any other.Who's gonna go against a man who supposedly convenes with god? A perfect example of it today is Bush and crazy evangelical right wing Christians, who were a HUGE factor for him getting elected twice.Religion is scary because it's based on what the people believe are solid beliefs, when they should be based on ideas. You can always change a idea, but people start wars and die over their beliefs.

I have no religion. My faith is that I believe that god exists in all of us. We should live our lives trying our best to do what is right. As for Heaven and Hell. I do not believe in both. I do believe to the many different planes our eternal souls go to after we die. As for hell, well perhaps that is just here on earth, some die, and have unfinished business, or are just demented, and cannot move on, and therefore, perhaps are ghosts? Who really nows for sure?

I am currently studying different religions than that which I was brought up to believe. I had some issues with the current organized religions, hypocrisy mostly. They say one thing and do another. I am reading about pagan religions now and looking at the differences between that and christan religions. If nothing else I have taken from pagans that nature is of god (which ever deity you worship) and humans are of nature, so we are all connected. A little corny I know....but it makes sense to me. So even if I choose to remain christian I will still take what I have learned from the other religions and use them how I feel fits my own spiritual path. So in answer to your question at this time I am more of Baptipagan. I feel heaven is what you make it.

I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses. I used to be a Catholic. I also studied with the Mormons. I feel through investigations and research with personal study that I have made the best choice. There is a heaven. God lives there and will operate his Kingdom from the heavens with Jesus as that King. As for hell...there in no burning hell. Hell, according to the Bible, is mankind's common grave. God would never give his worst archenemy his own personal domain to torment and cause anguish to "sinners" for all eternity. Do some research yourself on hell and come to your own conclusion. Go the your local library and look up where the idea of a burning hell came from in the first place.

I'm a Baha'i. The Baha'i Faith is the second-most widespread religion on the planet and latest of the world's independent religions. We believe heaven and hell are symbolic words used to express nearness or remoteness from God.
