It is hard to let go of your first love even though it has been ages since it happened. You want to move on but somehow every little nice thing that happens in your life will remind you of the time those things happened with your first love. You could write a letter about all those nice things that have happened with that person you love Probably half a page. Then for the other half of the page, write why you need to let go of those things . Finally, conclude with writing how grateful you appreciate the relationship with that person, then write goodbye to that person. Having done that, enclose it in an envelope seal it and either, put it in a bottle and let it float away in the ocean or burn it. Don't look back on it. If you have to cry, and you are allowed to, go to some quiet place al by yourself...even in your room with the lights out and stay quiet for the next half hour. Close your eyes and let everything about that relationship slip away and when you have done that, say goodbye....Don't ever think about it again....

You read the book "He's Just not that into you" and move on. Closure is an overrated thing...do you REALLY want to know what he found so annoying or unattractive about you OR about another woman he wanted to see, that he didnt want to stick around anymore? Sometimes best not to go there. Acceptance is the key......very few loves are forever after and his love didnt go the distance....no-ones fault. Chemistry is just like that.

You don't get closure if you ponder on ifs and buts. The best why of dealing with the past is to leave the past with no regrets. Rather look to live and experience new things and make new memory's.

Its easier to say than do believe me it took me a while to get over my ex girl even after dating all lot of other people. but you need to make the decision to move on with the future.

but believe me will find your self drifting away and re living the ifs and buts.

keep your chin up.

I don't think you ever get over your first love. But in time, after you have been with different people your first love slowly receeds to the back of your mind where you think about it less.

it doesnt happen all times but in certain cases that i have seen, yes magic does happen.

well it all depends on both of you, its best to give and take and to talk things over all the time, but remember never to share a bad moment but dont be too sercretive.

anyway all the best.

Find someone else and just be friends with your first love. I mean nothing more and nothing less than a good friend.
