if your area picks up the freeview then yes.

But for better results get an indoor arial that is digitial that has built in booster ( around £30 ).

So the set up would be arial ( plugged into mains ) coxial to freeview scart or coxial to tv.

enjoy the better picture

you should be ok if you have a reasonable signal. you can go on the http://www.freeview.co.uk/home web site and find out the signal strength in your area. you could also try an indoor digital ariel which work well with freeview. Argos give a 16 day moneyback guarantee so if it didn't help you haven't lost anything.

Depends entirely on the area in which you live. I tried that but ended up having to buy a freeview ariel for the roof (£165) with fitting. but the results are perfect.

Don't bother with an indoor aerial to receive digital TV you will need a good digital aerial or it wont be worth bothering and you will notice the difference.

If you live in a big city like London, Birmingham, Manchester, Brighton etc... where the transmitters are you probably could get away with it, but anywhere else, you have no chance.

You have to live close to the transmitter (20 miles or less) but you'll probably need one with a booster anyway.
