That is a trick question. Did you row up the lawn from the north or south. If you row from the north you are able to block the syrup from running away, therefore getting more pancakes on the doghouse. If you row from the south to the front lawn, you are rowing against the syrup flow and might be lucky to get a few pancakes on there. And then does the doghouse have a hungry dog or not? What if Aunt Jemimah is allergic to dogs. So an answer is impossible.

pack the pancakes in a bag, the dog is running away with the canoe, they are meeting a spork at the bus station, and all three are running off to California...they might get hungry on the way
