Well, atheism is not a religion and neither of them are/were atheists. Darwin was agnostic and Gore is a Southern Baptist. If I had to choose a couple ot "prophets" from among atheists I might pick Isaac Asimov and Frank Zappa.

A prophet is one which predicts the destiny. Prophets of previous regarded to the celebs-- and extra lately at tea leaves or Tarot playing cards. Al Gore predicts the destiny in retaining with medical findings which nonbelievers of creationism are continually advocating. you may't have your cake and devour it too. You both trust in technology or you do not. Watch AN INCONVENIENT reality in its entirety in the previous you settle on. i did not trust it till I pronounced it. i idea he develop right into a bag of warm air. extra perfect nevertheless, study countless the analyze on line or on the library. (Al Gore has carried out all of this for you, and he travels from city to city attempting to get human beings to pay interest.) this is a intense difficulty, and it isn't one guy's strive against. He has dedicated many years to get us to pay interest. some human beings may no longer pick to trust it, although that is going on. we pick to be placing an celebration for some thing of the international through stepping up and devising a fashion to sluggish international warming. you comprehend, everyone loved the action picture ARMAGEDDON. you may trust that a meteor develop into hurtling in the route of earth, and we had to act rapidly to ruin it. Why then, even as an analogous experience is going on in actual existence, will we pick to instruct our backs and discredit the messenger? For that count, why shouldn't we've a cutting-area day prophet. imagine about it!

Not Darwin. His book "On the Origin of Species" had this on the inside cover...
"But with regard to the material world, we can at least go so
far as this-we can perceive that events are brought about not by
insulated interpositions of Divine power, exerted in each particular case, but by the establishment of general laws."
W. WHEWELL: Bridgewater Treatise.
"To conclude, therefore, let no man out of a weak conceit of
sobriety, or an ill-applied moderation, think or maintain, that a
man can search too far or be too well studied in the book of God's word, or in the book of God's works; divinity or philosophy; but rather let men endeavour an endless progress or proficience in both."
BACON: Advancement of Learning.

We have prophets now? o.O
I'm going to say neither. Having a prophet sounds like emulating religion just a little too much.

Atheism isn't a religion/cult. They don't believe in any deities. Does thinking hurt your brain because it's obvious you didn't do any when you wrote your question.

Both are equal in satan's eyes. You still have a chance at salvation but we never know just how long that will last. Consider GOD's Message while you still live and breathe. Read, study, and obey HIS HOLY WORD! Have a good Lord's Day.

hmm.. let's see.. finder of big turtles.. or.. inventor of the internet..
kind of a bust in favor of the guy who lost the worst job in history by less than one percent of the vote. it was so close a lot of people still think he should have been president. lucky guy considering recent events. I bet he outlives G.W. by thirty years.
