I Am trying to fit a car radio. I have power, cd injects and ejects. But get no display on the screen. Help?

Okay so I have the wires going to the correct ports and all that. Only thing is when I attach the face I don’t get any display on the screen. Have pressed the reset button and followed the procedure outlined in the manual. if there is anything i can do to make it work please advise.

is it an old or new cd radio unit?

Look out for a wire (check your manual) called memory, this sometimes controls the display as most have a clock, this wire needs to go to a permanent voltage, such as your cars clock, or cigarette lighter.
