Thats a serious philisophical question!
No one knows for sure, because while many people have theories about 'God' or have reasons to believe one way or another, there is no actual 'Proof.'
'Faith' means that you believe that there is. You either have faith or you don't, but still no one can possibly know for sure.

Can you explain your existence? Can you explain why the sun is just the right distance away form the earth? Can you explain why the ocean waters stay in place?

If you found a precision timepiece, would you conclude that it was formed by a chance blowing together of some dust particles? Obviously someone with intelligence made it. There is an even more magnificent "clock". The planets in our solar system, also the stars in the entire universe, move at a rate that is more precise than most clocks designed and manufactured by man. The galaxy stars, and astronomers estimate that there are 100 billion of such galaxies in the universe! The Bible describes the Designer of it as "the true God,...the Creator of the heavens and the Grand One stretching them out."

Look at the world around you? All the natural wonders I mean and not so much that which man has misused or destroyed. There can be no design without a designer ! The world given to us is perfect. If we keep His laws as best we can, and reject satan it will be restored again to that which we were given,and we will be healed and forgiven. This is why Jesus came to teach mankind the way truth and life. He so loved the world that He gave His only Son that we may be saved. It is simple. So yes of course there is God. One God.

I really don't know if there truly is a GOD. But I do know that we all have to have something to believe in. And perhaps god is within each and every one of us. But, it depends on if we listen to our hearts and souls.
