No, Water Base Stains should never be mixed together with the Lacquer Base Stains, however, they can be used on the same design if separated by a lead line.

NO ! Never.
You can not mix water base stain or paint with any other oil or lacquer based products. They just won't 'mix'.

no not in the bucket. but you can put lacquer on after water base after drying
