They are just poorly bred puppies, probably the products of byb. If they have not done any health screenings and do not offer at least a two year guarantee on hips, elbows, and genetic problems, I would look else where.
It is probably not a mix but if you do not think you will be happy with the pup look into the Lab breed club in your area and get breeder referrals. You will get a dog that has been properly bred and health screenings will have been done.

Absolutely not. As a labrador breeder I know what 6 week old pups are capable of doing. Even being a mixed breed pup I can't see this occurring. Someone would have heard something and the parents and grandmother left the baby alone in the swing for an extended period of time. Someone is lying and DNA should tell the truth after a post mortem of the neglected baby and necropsy of the pup that was put down. Let them both RIP the poor things. Some people aren't meant to have children or pets.

He is fine and the concerns you listed are typical. A great deal of yellow Labs will have a brownish colored nose. You just could not show him. I have two my youngest eyes were green when I got him and now have turned yellow but his nose stayed brownish. I have no plans on showing him in confirmation so it is fine. Both Labs are from the same litter and I know the breeder and both parents. They are pure bred Labs the nose is a genetic fluke and you will often see pictures of several yellow Labs with that colored nose.

I got my chocolate lab when he was 6 weeks old. He was registered and both parents were onsite. He had the prettiest green eyes when he was a baby. But they changed to brown as he got older.

The pup is fine....the eyes will change, and the nose will get pigment. If you are really worried, ask to see the registration papers and pedigrees of the parents. If they can't provide that paperwork for you, then I would worry.
Did you sign a contract with the breeder?

The eye color may change but I have seen Labs with light eyes as well. He might have what is called a dudley nose if it turns pinkish. This does not mean he is not purebred.

full blooded DOES NOT mean properly bred.... you want a pup with a history of breed champions,, both his parents should be champions also,,, you want proof of hip clearances in his parents and grandparents also..... you need a reputable breeder ... try a quick search on AKC.ORG and click on breeder referral and see if you can find a decent breeder in your area..... also, read the breed standard at this site tooo....
