I'm pretty sure that this is a joke. I don't think there can be this many misinformed people on Yahoo Answers.

Because monkeys are not stupid enough to commit mass suicide in order to offer to some humans the proof they believe necessary to confirm that the evolution theory is true...
On the other hand, monkeys probably look at the humans and tell themselves "we better still stay around, because these humans keep killing each other, God seems to look the other way, and when the human race will become extinct it will be our job to give the Earth another Pithecanthropus Erectus..."

There are still some unanswered questions about the theory of evolution as the process by which life forms on earth developed.
For example, how did homo habilis become homo sapiens? How was gravity formed? Why were there primitive life forms on earth?
What is important is God may have used that process to create life forms on earth. When the theory is finally accepted by everyone, Christianity may have to drop or change some of its doctrines, but it will not disprove the existence of God.
Have a blessed day

This question is flawed I will give you two reasons why.

1. Humans did not evolve from monkeys.

2. No where in the Theory of Evolution does it state if a group from one species have evolved that all of the original species must evolve with it.

Number 9 on the "Answers in Genesis" list of "Arguments we think creationists should NOT use".

Remember, these guys are as creationist as they come. They do, however, have more intellectual rigour than most.

From there site:

"(C)reationists believe that most human variation occurred after small groups became isolated (but not speciated) at Babel, while Adam and Eve probably had mid-brown skin color. The quoted erroneous statement is analogous to saying “If all people groups came from Adam and Eve, then why are mid-brown people still alive today?”

[edit] WE DID EVOLVE FROM MONKEYS!!!! APES EVOLVED FROM MONKEYS AND WE EVOLVED FROM APES (or are apes, depending on your classification).

Monkeys are a species that still has a function. Only certain primates evolved into man..and those primates no longer are active in the wild. We are them now.Do not let your limited belief system or need to manufacture evidence of a false god cloud your judgment. Open your mind a bit...and free it as well.

If someone is born to be extremely tall, or small in stature. Or perhaps a tribal group is all no more that 5ft tall, and most of the rest of us are taller than 5ft. would the people in the tribal group ask why are the others still taller? Evolution, complex, and unpredictable.

Because environmental pressures are not acting the same on every species in every habitat hence some species of primate achieved a higher niche in the food chain than others, which gives them greater access to available food resources and in man's case allowed him to become the apex predator.

This is the question that makes you look the most uneducated. Evolution branches off, it isn't a straight line at all. Fifth grade science class would have covered this.

AND WE DID NOT EVOLVE FROM MONKEYS. We have a common ancestor with monkeys about 8,000,000 years ago. Here is what we came from: http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2006/09/060920-lucys-baby.html

Please take few days to go to a museum of natural history and the zoo. That way you won't need to ask questions that embarrass yourself publicly.

Congratulations you are the 1000th person to ask this question this week. This is a new record.

Your prize is a 6th grade science text book.

It should answer your question rather nicely.

You should not have skipped so much school in 6th grade young lady.

Love and blessings Don
