It's ok to have separate vacations IF you're marriage is strong. It's not likely to stay strong if you're always going on separate vacations though. There's no reason why you can't both find a vacation destination where you can relax poolside and you're wife can go off on her own adventure. Check out Gaitlenburg, Tennessee this summer. There is so much to do and beautiful trails to walk in the Smokey Mountains. Or Mackinaw Island in Michigan. Good luck (and go give your wife a HUGE hug... you should both be proud that you've weathered 21 years together!)

No, not to weird. I have heard of couples doing this. If you have been married that long, you probably have a pretty good marriage.
If the trust and security in each other is there, then its probably alright. I think its a deep maturity to be able to do this.
Alot of couples would worry about the other being unfaithful, If your past that point in your marriage, and you know that you are not doing it for such reasons...then YES, i think its fine, if your wife agrees also.
I think its good to spent time apart, It helps couples realize what they love about the other, and they miss them.
I would make it a point to go on some sort of vacation together, just so you and she, dont get in the habit, of not spending vacation time together...You still have to let your wife feel special, and let her know you value spending time with her.
This can all be good, if it doesnt ever interfere with your marriage..and this all depends on how you handle it.

So you think you`ll have good time, relaxation and hassle free only when you stay away from your young wife. Weird.

So long as the idea is not a cover-up for some extra marital affairs, then why not? Time apart is also healthy. You also need time to be alone or to be with your own friends.

you should compermise and spend the time together after all you are married. maybe you might want to go seperate ways talk to your wife about the vacation and see how she feels about parting.

What does your wife want to do? How come you can't compromise and go one place the first time and another place the second time?

Sure, even husbands and wives need time away from each other. Nothing wrong with that, unless you, or your wife are contemplating some hanky panky with other people.

i think it's ok as long as you both want to,and as long as you both take some together at other times, you could each take a friend with similar interests it might be just what you need!
