Depends on which heaven you are talking about. There is quite a bit of evidence for the idea that God provides a separate idea of heaven for each of the different belief systems. This means that some of us are going to be partying with Jesus and the unconditionally loving God that he taught us about in the parable of the prodigal son.

I hear this one doesn’t have any gates. Come to think about it, I Guess it wouldn’t need any would it.

Meanwhile certain others will be busy worshiping A judgmental punishing version of the real God that we are with. I think that this might be the one with the fancy pearly gates

You don’t suppose it could possibly be that they are intended to keep someone in do you?

Could it be God is trying to protect those of us who don't believe in a judgmental punishing God from something?

Love and blessings

people who blow themsves up THINK they are going to heaven... not the same as ACTUALLY going there

"if I deliver my body to be burned and do not have love it profits me nothing" 1 Corinthians 13

also God is the centerpiece of heave... the 70 virgins make man and his comfort the center

heaven is a world of love and the centerpiece and highest treasure is God. Just as there was 1 marriage in the garden of eden, between Adam and the wife made out of his wounded side, there is 1 marriage in heaven between Christ and the redeemed, the church born out of Jesus wounded side on the cross. The marriage relationship of today is just a mere hint and glipse of what is to come and heaven is a place where the glory of God and the desire of man meet perfectly

.... no 70 virgins.. sorry that makes heaven more like a 5 star hotel with man at the center not God...

I would like and, do believe that there is indeed a heaven so to speak and I believe that heaven is not evil. But we, as a society, does not have solid proof that there is a heaven, or even hell, and better yet, evil. So one does not know until one dies, right?
As for people just blowing themselves up, they truly believe in their cause, and are truly suicidal. If you find the answer to this question, I would like to know myself.

Heaven is supposed to be a paradise so no I don't think it would be an evil place. Your statement about people blowing themselves up to get to heaven doesn't make it an evil place either. God decides who gets in anyway.

Well, when you consider that some people who are fundamentalists of a few of the major religions that do many hateful and intolerant things in the name of their religion claim that their acts and words will get them into Heaven, it must mean that Heaven is the place that all the people who make life on Earth miserable go.

Noone shall enter heaven if he/she killed an innocent. May God forgive all but God is justice and He will do whatever it has to be done. So heaven cannot be an evil place!

Heaven is paradise and the only Way there is through Jesus Christ. Jesus NEVER said to kill people so you can get to heaven. One of the ten commandments is Thou shalt not kill.
