I am 14 stones at the moment.
My height=6 feet – 1”, and i am a slim medium build.
Will the exercise bike i have, help me shred fat of my abs, i do crunches daily, but i know i need some cardio.
Is this good enough? i have a very cheap exercise bike:
Body Sculpture
BC1510 (tension) manual adjustment
Other option is to run with a football, in 10m lengths in the garden back and forth,

I have 1 dumbbell and some large fuel cartons that I can use as weights.
My Diet is good,
I envy people with 6 packs, it’s a dream, and have always worked for anything and achieved in life, but my abs never!

How long should I do on the bike:30mins daily?
How many press-ups should i do, I max 25 in 1 go at the moment, also I am doing 15kg * 20 rep(2 sets) for my biceps and use 15kg*30 reps(2sets) dumbbell(with each arm) for pull ups for my back muscles.

How can I get more strength and bring out the 6pack and shred those layers of fat without burning muscle tissue?
Thanks in advance

ensuring that you maintain a calorific deficit. using more calories than you consume will bring about weightloss. To get a sixpack you do not want to bulk the abdominal muscles instead you want to reduce the sub-cutaneous fat layers hiding it. A solid 90 minutes cycling a day should achieve the results you are after in time for summer.

Use an EMS Unit like body-tek on your abs, it might not be healthy with the emf it's sending through you, but believe it or not it builds you abs up well & quick & allows for you to contract them 100% when doing ab exercises on your own as opposed to about 80% before. The good thing is that when your abs are bigger than normal they don't go down easily (unlike other muscles) as they are used all the time keeping you upright. Also eating more protein will make you leaner by itself. I ate lots of chick peas for about a week & became much more built & lean just by doing that because they are low in fat & high in easily digestible protein. If you are 10% body fat (you can find out with electronic scales) then it's more about the ab-size than the amount of fat on your abs. Otherwise I would recommend getting a Slam Man, they are great for getting your abs ripped & building muscle at the same time. Don't do too much aerobics though (more than 30 minutes 3 times a week is too much) as you need to give your skin time to gradually tighten otherwise you could end up with loose hanging skin & stretch marks.

to answer your first question:

as long as u take in less food and burn more calories, biking will help burn off fat. any type of cardio will do. You will most likely have to work out longer or up the resistance.

try using those flat weights ( i forget what u call them) and place it on ur abs while doing crunches.
