I have hens and i'm not doing anything at the moment, I think that as soon as the government think it is an issue they will tell us what to do.
Some people on here have told you to put netting over them, but thats not too good. Bird Flu can be spead by bird droppings, which netting would let through, So, really you should put a solid top to the enclosed run, and then put netting over the wire to make sure that birds can not get in through the sides.
I don't think you can have them vaccinated, you have to know the strain of flu and I don't think they are offering vaccinations at the moment.
Also, don't mess about with the hens too much, just in case they do get it and then you get infected. Don't go playing with them!
If you are concerned I would call your vet and have a chat, see what advice they are putting out to people.

I have six hens, and at the moment there are no restrictions in my area, but just in case, my husband has built a run, like yours. We are going to put the netting which you usually put over ponds, over and round it, to stop contact with wild life. Other than shutting them inside, thats the only thing we can think of to do.

We are in the same position.
Best prevention would appear to be to put netting over the chicken run to stop other birds from getting in.
Vaccinations are apparently very expensive.

The main protection is to keep them indoors, without any risk to wild birds,or indeed wild animals. Check out the defra website to get some more specific advice.
