mother teresa operated "homes for the dying" where people went, not to be comfortable while they died, not to get help, but TO SUFFER. they were offered NO treatment, and NO comfort at all. the only thing they got was prayer read over them; no cure for organ failure, mind you! she seriously believed suffering wa good for the soul, because christ suffered.
find a better role modle

That is a nice little quote, and I'm sure based on her experiences of life, but like many things Cathoic it really isn't Biblical.
The fruit of silence is to know God 'Be still and know that I am God" Faith comes from hearing the Word of God, not from prayer. (Rom 10) Love comes from three things (1 Thess) and faith is one of those, the other two are a pure heart and a good conscience. Love does produce service. There are two types of peace, Peace with God, and that is given when you become a Christian, and the Peace of God when you base your life on prayer. (Phil 4) Can you find peace that way? I would still be enclined to follow he Bible.

yes, that is all true....
if you want to have all that fruit, search and find Jesus the way the truth and the light.....and when you reconcile with HIm you will get the fruits of graces
