well, ive got a chocolate muffin 2days ago, but i liked them nice and fresh. if i put it in a microwave now, would it taste near as good as a freshly baked one?

sprinkle them with a little water first...not too long in microwave..20 seconds or so??

Microwaves are interesting because they will freshen stuff up. Usually a quick zap (not TOO much - that'll ruin it) will make it seem fresher. On some foods, like pasta, it helps to sprinkle a little water on it. Haven't tried it with bread.

If I were you, I'd give it a 5 or 10 second zap, depending on your microwave. Remember, you can always zap it MORE, but you can't unzap.

It would definitely improve it as long as you ate it warm. What I do is I freeze cakes then microwave when I want one and they're great.

No, it would surely go harder, you'dprobably be better off warming it in the oven ( while you have something else cooking - to save energy)

No they tend to dry out overtime.

if not too dry they will taste the same

no, it will overcook it, dry it out more, and make it taste worse...eat it cold.
