Just to think on the lines more of what steps god might want you to take instead of selfish or bad decisions. Its just to steer you in a good direction, it can be anybody who's having some possible drama in there life. Just my opinion

If you are indeed a Christian than that means that you are a follower of Christ. Christ means "The Annointed One" or "Messiah". however I take it that you're actually trying to say you are a follower of Jesus.
The Follow Jesus's teachings. If you have a bible you can read for yourself. You don't need to follow a priest, minister, Elder, etc.
Read what the word of Jesus instructs you and adhere to it. How many times did Jesus preach in a church? zip!
What religion was Jesus? It was never indicated. People assume he was a Jew, but he chastised the Pharasees. He was not part of any organized religion. he cited the Old Tesiment.

As a christian God and what God expects of us should be our top priority. In one sense it could mean that if there are things in our lives that aren't pleasing to God, we should deal with those issues first. In another sense it could be that we need to really consider what the reason is that we would make one decision over another one. What are the motives behind making this decision, as opposed to the other one. Then choose the better one according to what we feel would be more pleasing to God.

I don't think anyone is qualified to answer that for you... It seems to me that if you are about to make life-changing decisions, you should take the time to meditate and pray in order to find the answer on your own. What is it that you want? Will good come from that choice? Look inward and see if each option will allow you to love others, if some are based on selfish reasons then maybe they should be taken off the list. It's important that these be your descisions, made between you and God.

impossible to know without knowing what the issues were on which you were about to make a decision. In general, I would say you were about something _the community_ or _that person_ wouldn't be pleased with, rather than god. Because how would they know the mind of god?
note: I am totally not a christian but then again, this is an open forum.

Mark Chapter 16:15 And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone, everywhere. 16 Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned. 17These signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak new languages.£ 18 They will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything poisonous, it won’t hurt them. They will be able to place their hands on the sick and heal them.”
Jesus told his disciples to go into all the world, telling everyone that he had paid the penalty for sin and that those who believe in him can be forgiven and live eternally with God. Christians today in all parts of the world are telling this Good News to people who haven’t heard about Christ. The driving power that carries missionaries around the world and sets Christ’s church in motion is the faith that comes from the Resurrection. Do you ever feel as though you don’t have the skill or determination to be a witness for Christ? You must personally realize that Jesus rose from the dead and lives for you today. As you grow in your relationship with Christ, he will give you both the opportunities and the inner strength to tell his message.

Prioritising things simply mean giving more value or time to what is important to you.
As Christians, I reckon that your priorities will look something like this:
1. God (above all things, you put God first in your life. Spending time with Him in prayers and reading His word. Establishing that relationship with God.)
2. Family (are you spending time with your love ones? are you practically demonstrating the love of God to your immediate family? being a living testimony and witnessing to them? in your deathbed, you will not expect your company to be your side, the best they will do is to send you flowers. your family will be at your bedside through thick and thin)
3. Work (are you setting a good example in your workplace? are you demonstrating Christ-like attributes to your colleagues. are you sharing the Gospel to them as written in the Bible?)
4. Church (this can be number 3. but apart from Sunday services, do you constantly seek opportunities to grow in spiritual maturity and fellowship with your fellow believers? do you go to missions, evangelise, involve in church ministry, etc?)
hope that helps.

Hi Victorgal!!!
It clearly means that you need to put aside, everything and everybody, and to give GOD the mumber one position in your life!!
Priority means to put in order of importance. In this case as it would be in all cases, for everyone, GOD should be the FIRST thing in our minds, thank HIM, prise HIM, sing to HIM, asked HIM for your needs in faith and HE will deliver it to you. Always ask JESUS THE LORD, as HE wishes and if HE pleases, it is something that will bring you closer to GOD!!!
Priorities NOT only refers to the first thing, it also refers to the second and third and so fourth.
Second, when praying toGOD always ask or refer to JESUS THE LORD in HIS name to deliver your prayer to THE FATHER!!!!
Third remember that absolutely no one, will get to have GOD THE FATHER's attention, if you don't ask through JESUS THE LORD.
Fourth keep the law, just like here in earth GOD's laws are the TEN COMMANDMENTS. Try to live a rightiousness life.
Always asking GOD, TO FORGIVE YOU, IN THE NAME OF JESUS THE LORDHIS SON.
Always remember that we are who we are because GOD let's us be!!! We as Chritians, have a big responsability which is letting others know about GOD , JESUS THE LORD AND THE HOLY SPIRIT, So don't loose a single minute of your life and speak and live proud, you WILL BE SAVE!!!!
Priorities is NOT us first!!! Is GOD THROUGH JESUS THE LORD, EMBRACING THE HOLY SPIRIT, learning how to listen to what HE has to say, follow the TEN COMMANDMENTS, respect and love our neighbors, pray for our enemies. And GOD WILL TAKE CARE OF US, HE will provide everything that we possibly need, all in the name OF JESUS THE LORD, AMEN.
GOD BLESS YOU AND SHINE HIS LIGHT UPON YOU
A.Z.

Make your decision based on God's word, read The Bible, or consult with your Church Leader, and seek God's leadership for your life.
