I used to be vegetarian and now I eat meat, but I don't eat it every day and I really like having the balance of that. You're not supposed to eat red meat every day anyway. It's great because there are so many good vegetarian recipes now and so many more options, when I was vegetarian everything was ricotta and spinach.

I have a couple of close friends who are vegetarian and whenever they come for dinner I cook vegetarian for everyone - noone has seemed to notice or mind at all and when I tell people that the whole meal was vegetarian they're generally suprised.

I think that occasionally having meat like you did today is fine. You're still doing good work and don't stress about it.

This should not hurt you, may make you feel a little down, but I know many people that have just stopped being vegitarians, because they all of a sudden felt like it.

I would'nt however recomend eating rubbish meat e.g. McDonalds or Burger King.

But I dont think that it should hurt you.

you can do whatever you want, but a vegetarian NEVER eats meat, not even occasionally. thats fine, there's nothing wrong with eating meat, lord knows i'm a hard core carnivore myself. you just shouldn't cloak yourself in the veg. label if you're not.
