Dog cannot travel by air, VIA Rail accepts only guide dogs. Any company that will provide a driver either my car or pick us?

I'm not sure what you mean by "dog cannot travel by air". Westjet allows dogs to fly. Unless there is a reason the dog can't?

VIA rail also accepts dogs, as long as it is not on certain routes. (and you are responsible for arranging feeding and watering your animal) You have to make arrangements to go in the back with appropriate supervision to be with your dog. I would advise to not travel in summer, because it does mention heating problems.

You could advertise in papers for helping with gas and driving in exchange for transportation for you and your dog.

Make sure to take pictures of your dog and all ID and vaccination records with you.

Dogs are allowed to fly on both West Jest and Air Canada, and small animals may be taken into the plane cabin in lieu of a carry-on bag.. They need to be vaccinated and health certified by a veterinarian. I'm not certain about the second part of your question... You have a car but don't drive or want to rent a car and driver? Not sure on that one, sorry.
Another option is to google "pet movers" or "pet travel." There are companies--some based in Ontario--who specialize in the transport of domestic animals. At one point in my life, I thought I might have to move to Asia, and these companies take care of everything, including documentation and quarantine, although you should not have to quarantine an animal moving from province to province.

You can probably send the dog via a courrier service and go seperately. As far as I know it is really hard to travel with animals these days unless you are driving yourself.
