Eggs raw or cooked are fine for dogs. Don't give raw eggs more then a couple of times a week though.

Raw eggs are a big part of a raw fed diet for dogs.

Don't worry if your dog likes them then let him have them it will do no harm.

Hi Sarah F!!
Eggs are very good for dogs. In fact, they are the most concentrated, valuable form of protein that a dog can get , as long as they are cooked. Apparently, raw egg whites bind to the biotin that a dog ingests and prevents it from being absorbed. Cooked eggs do not do this.

If you do feed eggs, it should not be more than 1 per pound of food.

i always give raw eggs 2 my dog and they gave never hurt them. I feed the raw diet also.
so many things and so many differant opinions..........i have always fed my dogs raw eggs and always will. the reason for eggs is they can cause salmonella, but so can the dog food they eat because of all the junk ingrediants in the food, rawhide chews and pigsears can also.

raw eggs are wonderful for dogs. i have a golden lab hes 3 yrs old and once a week i break a raw egg into his food. it keeps his coat nice and shiny and the protins are good for him you can give your dog 1 egg a week but should never give him milk as in clogs up the ears.

hi there i have always given my dogs one raw egg a week mixed in with their mince and bikkies. i think it helps keep their coat shiny. many of my friends now do this too and comment on their dogs coat. i havent personally heard of any bad side effects, but if you are giving your dog a high quality biscuit you shouldnt need anything extra anyway. hope this helps...

raw egg is neither good for dogs nor us.
boiled or half boiled egg is good for dogs.
remember that the difference between human and a pet dog's daily food/energy requirement is negligible.
if we give the same diet to our mature >35kg pet dog as we ourself take ; it won't be a bad thing to do.

i give my dog raw eggs and it has never hurt him. it is great for their coats. in fact, whenever we go to my mother in laws house, he steals the eggs from her chooks and eats the whole thing - shell and all. he loves it. (but the mother in law aint all that impressed by it.)

Raw eggs will probably contain salmonella bacteria, which make humans ill, presumably dogs as well.
