"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"

The recipe for longevity is uncertain. The french woman who lived to be 127, smoked till her 100th birthday, drank wine, ate meat and cream and butter, exercised mildly by riding her bike to town. When asked her secret to living so long, she said: "She was a very happy person!" So explain that??
You obviously, equate living with only the comfort of the body? Life is about Mind, Body and Spirit. What about those aspects of living? Poor thing...you, like so many Americans and people in general, think of the body as the goal of living. The body is just the vehicle or device for reaching your soul's goal or intention.

I doubt it! You need good physical exercise to stay healthy and live longer. Not just healthy foods and supplements. Won't work that way. Need to put in a lot of physical activity into your life (not just some). In case buying a treadmill and just running/walking inside your house has crossed your mind, you need a little sunshine on you so you don't get pale and terrible looking skin.

You'd probably die real fast. The best way to live longer is to physically exert yourself all the time until you feel like you are going to die. Sitting immobilzed in a chair sucking on carrot juice is a surefire way to croak in record time

No, it wouldn't be worth it. You would not be excercising, getting fresh air etc... also your immune system would become weak as you would not be exposed to the outside world, making it easier for you to get ill. And your life would be very boring.

You forgot about one thing! 'Exercise', with out it you will become depressed and stressed. The real key to a longer life is to learn to be relaxed about things. My uncle Dick lived to 101 and on his one hundredth birthday, he told us that his secret was not to worry, as what ever happens will happen anyway, whatever. all you have to do, is your best and then let fate decide.

just take a 45 minute walk 5 days a week. It is very simple, and very effective. Also, there is a very small chance of injury.
