I am on a diet and excercise program but get craving soemtimes for something sweet. I usually eat an apple or a couple strawberries but it doesn't hit the spot. Any other suggestions on something that might do the trick?

Try one or two small bites of chocolate, that's what I do. Or I will get one of the sweet rice cakes..also sometimes if you eat something semi-salty it will get rid of the craving.

I do too, and I am diabetic. They have sugar free candies out there now that taste like the regular candies. There are a little more expensive, but if you only eat a few at a time they last. You can also make banana cream pie that a diabetic can eat. You can buy the sugar free pudding, use graham cracker crumbs for the crust using splenda, and skim milk. You only need one large or 2 small banana's to make it. It is absolutely delicious too. They have a fat free, sugar free Cool Whip too to put on top. :D

That's normal. But I recently read an article that said that cravings only last 15 minutes. I haven't tested that yet, but you might want to try waiting 15 minutes instead of eating what you crave.

try Glutamine combine with a little heavy cream and xylitol, it'll help you control sugar craving... I read this from Jonny Bowden's book, 'Living the Low Carb Life'... Good Luck!!!
