Im well known in my family for my moist cakes. The secret to a really moist cake is not to overdo it. Even a packet cake mix can be the one of the moist cakes you have ever tried. All you have to do is take the cake out around 5-10 minutes before suggested time in recipe or on the box. I would although suggest a white wings cake mix"angelic vanilla" and the secret to your cake never sticking to the pan is butter your pan really well expecially in the corners and then add a bit of flour to coat the butter.

Juice of one lemon
1 cup sugar
1 cup boiling water
1 large angel food cake

4 TBSP. cold water
1 bag shredded coconut (optional)

Hi,
British Receipe:
A rich fruit cake from Wales.
Ingredients:
1 pint sour cream
6 tablespoons butter
4 tablespoons sultanas
4 tablespoons sugar
1 egg
3 tablespoons self-raising flour
Method:
- In a mixing bowl rub the butter into the flour.
- Stir in the sugar and sultanas.
- Whisk the egg into the cream and stir into the mixture.
- Pour into a shallow well greased tin and bake at 130 degrees
C. until firm.
- This cake can also be cooked in a Dutch oven or under the grill.
------------------------------------------------------
SUPER MOIST CHOCOLATE CAKE:
1. 5 cups of all purpose flour (can substitute with wholewheat flour)
3 tablespoons of sifted good quality cocoa
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup white or vegan brown sugar
0. 5 teaspoon salt (optional)
5 tablespoons canola oil (can substitute with any veg. oil or even olive oil)
1 tablespoon white vinegar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup cold water
By far the most surprisingly deeelightful cake. This recipe is great for adults and for kids ages 3 and up.
1. Put your flour into mixing bowl, add cocoa, baking soda, vegan sugar and salt and mix well.
2. Make three deep holes in the dry mixture. Into one, pour the oil, into the next, pour the vinegar into the next, pour the vanilla.
3. Pour the water into the bowl, over all of this--- making a great big mess.
4. Mix the wet and dry ingredients together until there aren't any more lumps and pour into a 9 inch by 9 inch baking pan, two inches deep, it doesn't even have to be greased.
5. Bake at 350 for about half an hour, test with a fork.
Enjoy this delicious cake. You will be surprised at its moistness and richness!!!!! It can be cooled and iced with your choice of icing or can be enjoyed on its own. The batter can also be used to make cupcakes!!
TIP OF THE DAY: for an instant cake, have the premeasured, premixed dry ingredients at hand, then simply add the wet ingredients when you want a fresh treat! It makes a great birthday cake! Hey, it even freezes well!
Preparation time: 15 min. + 30 min. bake.
-------------------------------------------
MOROCCAN MOIST CAKE:
5 eggs
1 6 oz. container of vanilla yogurt
1 1/2 yogurt container of sugar
1 yogurt container of oil
2 1/2 tsp. of baking powder
3 yogurt containers of flour
There are no measuring cups used in this recipe. You will always use your empty yogurt container for the measures.
Put your yogurt into your bowl, then wash and dry it. Next add your flour and sugar. Next comes your oil, baking powder, and eggs.
Bake at 350* until a knife comes clean from the center.
Use lemon peel groung up or orange peel ground up for a little tangy flavor or you can just leave it plain. It is good either way.
You can also add melted chocolate to the top as an icing. But let the cake cool before doing so.
NOTE: I use Alsa brand baking powder, it is already packaged in 2 1/2 tsp packets. Look in the international aisle of your grocery store or just measure it out from your can.
