Have you ever drank Kava for its calming effects? After a few cups I learned you have to drink about 20-25 cups of it to feel its effects. On top of that, it takes 30 mins or so to start to feel its effects. With Kava being 80% water, I just dont hold that much liquid! So I was wondering if there was any way to speed up that relaxation feeling and maybe take a muscle relaxer with it. Does anyone know if this is dangerous or is it a great idea? Kava is a root that is ground up and mixed with water. It is 100% natural, and so Im thinking this would speed things up. What do you think?

It is not as bad for your liver as alcohol is. And I was just saying it was natural to express that the numbing and relaxation feelings isnt due to a direct chemical reaction like if I was doing drugs or something. In that case, I wouldnt want to MIX it with other drugs.

I agree with Mava. I drank Kava in the Fijian islands and it tasted very very awful. It was like murkey milkey water with floaties in it and I was told that it was a very strong alcohol they made there. Maybe there is a non-alcoholic version. I definitely detected an alcohol taste and after all the guys were drinking it they were acting pretty drunk

I think it's strange that you're talking about how natural Kava is and then talking about talking a muscle relaxant. If you want a relaxing and calming effect that is natural, smoke some weed.

Aside from that, if you're going to try your concoction, I would say go easy and maybe take half a muscle relaxant and a few cups of Kava together and see what happens (and not before operating any heavy machinery)

I've drunk kava in the Fijian Islands. It looked and tasted like brackish milky water from a creek, and made my mouth numb. It is more likely 95% water, and being "natural" will not necessarily speed up or slow down things.

Sounds like your liver is not metabolising atoh well if one drink sets you off. A good depressent with stupor qualities is marijuana. Kava is chill but not that psychoactive. Skullcap tea is sedative and makes a "happy" mood.
