well lets see this would be the TATTOO section of yahoo answers. i wonder why there arent more questions about lemmings or marmots!

Same reason there would be a lot of questions regarding fish should you end up in the fish section or vegetarian cooking in the vegetarian/vegan forum.
you're in the tattoo section and *gasp* there are tattoo questions.
People are curious about the taboo so they come here.
