I think if you have faith those who insult you are only making it stronger and showing themselves to be fools. I am very happy I know Jesus and he has certainly Changed my life for the better. I only wish this pleasure on others.

I don't ridicule faith. Faith and religion fulfill a meaningful purpose for many people. I ridicule judgemental people who force their beliefs on others. I am perfectly respectful to those of faith who do not try and impose their belief system on others.
I have seen a lot of insults go both ways....and I think it's uncalled for in some cases.
People who are intolerant towards others however, deserve ridicule and attack.
I will insult people who make ignorant comments, or ask questions in such a manner as to convey stupidy (like horrendous grammar, blatant logical fallacies, etc.).

I wouldn't trip on it all my friend. Look at it this way. In the Bible we are told to witness to people. If they don't listen and don't believe, then you have done what Jesus has commanded. The rest is up to them. I know as a Christian it is hard to accept when you know what there eternity will be without Christ Jesus as their Savior, but as Jesus told the Pharisees, their own blood will be on their heads. In other words, they were told of Jesus and they refused and on judgment day they will face God and realized that they really screwed up big time. You witness and if they accept Jesus, then praise be to God, if they refuse, walk away and don't argue with them. It isn't worth the energy.

I have never met an atheist that insulted jesus. Just alot of christians insult him by putting words in his mouth. If you find the truth to be insulting then I'm sorry but thats the way reality works my friend.
