Sometimes I wonder if this gets to be a habit. Does sound as if there is something in the throad which causes this, but I think a good ent person should be able to diagnose this for certain. Probably somebody with this expertise could answer.

Try gargling with mild salt water.
Gargle and spit, gargle and spit.
repeat for 1 minute.
I normally add 2/3 teaspoon to a full cup of water.

I use a Cepacol or Chloreseptic lozenge or one with a numbing agent like benzocaine in it. A few minutes later, it is gone.

hi angel i have this prob sometimes i usually drink some water if that don't work i try and eat something solid apple or sandwich

that sounds like an allergy; you could try to reason out what causes it. first guess is something in the air, like dust. stay hydrated.
