I am sick and tired of Christians that live like Jesus is coming in 1000 years. He will not come in 1000 years, I believe it is this generation.Yes every generation has said that, but there has only been one generation that has seen Israel back in the land and that is this one(1948) Jesus said this generation will not pass away until all these things are fullfilled, meaning the generation that saw Israel back in the land will be the generation that will see the return of Christ. Israel in this generation reaptured Jerusalem, (1967)and this generation saw the EU form a confederated nations. This generation saw the number 666 created in the year 2000 by Javia Solana, and has a vacant seat sitting right next to it wainting to be filled by the antichrist. This generation is working hard to get a one world government. This generation has seen more famines, pestalences, great earthquakes, wars that any other generation and is getting worse. This generation is seeing global warming

becoming more deadlier each day. This generation is seeing the antartic melt away for the first time in history. This generation is seeing nuclear weapons developed by more nations than any generation in history. This generation is now seeing for the first time a peace process for the middle east including Israel being pushed for the first time in history. This generation saw Russia and Iran as Allies for the first time. Jesus will return in this generation. Are you getting prepared to meet your King? If not it is about time. I wish some Christians will wake up before it is too late and they get left behind. Christians get prepared of get left.

To those people out there that think the rapture is a hoax, it is real. The angle Gabrelle said to Daniel, that in the last days knowledge will increase, and it certainly is, compared to any other generation in history

Both Islam and Christianity expect the return of Jesus at the end of times, and both expect trials and tribulations to occur at the time. Many of the themes of these trials are similar, but they are also very different in detail and definition. Both religions expect the nation of believers to be the final victors, but the Christian believes that these are defined as the believers in the Gospel of the New Testament and in Christ as ‘the Savior’ and ‘the Incarnation’ of God, whilst the Muslim knows that it refers to those who believe in the pure monotheism entailed in submission to the One and Only True God.
The return of Jesus is preceded in both religions by signs, again similar in general description, but subtly different in detail. Both religions teach that the return of Jesus will be preceded by a great and powerful figure of falsehood and temptation, called the Maseeh ad-Dajjal (The False Messiah) by the Muslims and the Anti-Christ by the Christians. Before this event other signs that agree with each other include a general increase in immorality and fornication, murder and crime, and general lawlessness, debauchery and falling away from religion and true knowledge. Accompanying these signs of civil malaise will be internecine[1] wars, and natural disasters following closely one upon the other. The details and timings of these, however, are substantially different, even within particular faiths. How the Christian faith regards the second coming depends on the doctrinal view held. Four broad views are prominent: Historical and Dispensational Ante-millennialism, and Preterist Post and A-millennialism.[2]
Ante-millennialism[3] has two branches of interpretation. Both postulate that Jesus will come and then, after defeating the Anti-Christ, will rule the earth with the ‘elect’ for 1000 years before the evil souls are resurrected, and Satan is unbound in the resurrected Anti-Christ[4]. They differ significantly concerning the events around this second coming.

Second Coming of Christ - No One Knows When
The Second Coming of Christ is plagued by many false teachings. Prediction books have even been written picking the exact day of Jesus' return. These books may sell many copies, but they mislead their readers. There's one guarantee: As soon as someone predicts the day or time of Jesus Christ's second coming, that prediction is wrong. Why? Simply, only God the Father knows when it will be -- Jesus doesn't even know. Jesus told His disciples:
"No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father." "Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding with the hand mill; one will be taken and the other left." "Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come." (Matthew 24:36, 40 & 42)
God Bless You

you are definitely not alone, many people have been saying this is the generation.
of course They said the same thing when the bible was written.
then again, there was a resurrection just shortly after Jesus. The firstfruits rose from their grave.
As for the RAPTURE it was the major Doctrine in addition to receiving a pocket bible, that led me to believe in God.
but Im not absolutely convinced that the rapture doctrine is true according to thess. 4.
I think it plainly describes the resurrection. but i am more convinced it may also conicide with the final hour of wickedness on the earth too.

I also believe that this generation will see the second coming - during times of deep prayerful meditation I have been told to prepare others for the coming of the Lord. I think that most Christians choose not to believe that it will happen in our lifetime because they have become complacent in their beliefs, many believe that simply being a Christian is enough but don't practice the values of Christianity. We need to prepare the world for the coming of the Lord.

What are you going to do when Jesus doesn't show up. He's not going to literally descend fromt he clouds in ten years or even five hundred years. You can keep waiting, but magic events like that will never, ever happen.
Jesus has already returned in the person of Baha'u'llah and all the prophecies have been fulfilled symbolically. And no, He is not a false Prophet. Jesus said: "Ye shall know them by their works".

There are a variety of reasons why most churches to not talk about the second coming and the rapture.
The first is that it is said that Jesus will come "like a thief in the night" - when you're least expecting it and its no use trying to prepare
The most important however is that Jesus taught people to love their neighbour as themselves and to know and love God. Jesus did NOT teach:"pour over Revalations for "clues" as to what is going to happen". They don't teach it because its NOT IMPORTANT FOR HOW YOU LIVE YOUR LIFE.

first off our church preaches it all the time. however regardless of when Jesus come back rather it be now or later that is not a concern for most churches and why most dont preach as much on it. for you should be living everyday as if Jesus is going to come that day. and most churches i have been to actually all of them preach this. there are signs but at the same time we dont know when it will happen. as well as it is said that well it would happen when we all least expect it.
but yes we teach about the signs in my church. like about the real id card that is passed and starting in the us. or about the vera chips or rfid chips. or about a guy named maitreya or something like that. who claims to be Jesus, muhommod and well all the main people of all beliefs. and is doing miracles but not in Jesus name. and many are being healed. i know many who were healed in Jesus name. just like the Bible says many will fall away from the church and there are many people who are backsliding and not going to church anymore. and it says many will go and be filled with the Holy Ghost. and this is happening as well. i mean in a different way then people thought about as far as the Holy Ghost goes. there are more and more people who thought they were filled but realized they were not tell they were filled speaking in tongues. and more churches are now execpting this as well. many used to kick people out for this but they are now realizing it is truth. so yes we preach about it but more importantly we should not have to.
