I fully agree with you,they can dish it out but certainly cannot take it themselves,and they call Christians hypocrites,the mind boggles!

I wasn't aware that you had a point, your question seemed more like aimless rambling.
Anyway, everyone is free to insult everyone, at least in the US, because we have freedom of speech. It really doesn't matter if you make people cry or not. America is the greatest country in the world because it is completely legal for me to say that the christian god is a complete tool, and if he were real, he wouldn't deserve the funk from between my toes, let alone my worship and devotion.
Conversely, you are free to call me all the names that theists call us on a regular basis, and quote your holy book to us, and let us know all the different levels of hell that we'll burn in. I promise that I won't cry about it, I think it's hilarious.

to respond to all 3 of your questions: a million. Jesus's preaching are irrelevant to our faith. How can something we hit upon irrelevant be insulting? 2. we do not decide the claims made with assistance from Christians, or Hindus, or Buddhists or persons of the different faith. 3. we do not think about that the messiah should be the son of God any more effective than we think about issues having to do with Hindu gods.

I have a feeling that most of the so called atheists in here insulting other peoples beliefs are actually anarchists or nihilists.
Insulting their lack of intelligence or insight or questions only feeds into their need for acceptance.
