I don't have any friends (since I got married 20 odd years ago).
My wife was unfaithful to me cos her 'friend' arranged it, so now my only friends are my 4 sons..........

Take it slowly. Join something you enjoy, and hopefully the potential friends will be dong the same thing. It takes ages to find stuff in common and realise who you both get on with. If it takes a while to find a friend don't worry, it is difficult in this society as everyone is so busy. And if you are going thru' a stage width no friends just enjoy groups and stuff and do not worry about it. I apologise for the nasty comments on this site, they are unnecessary.
