ok so i fell in love with this guy named Josh but he broke my heart.. just a week ago keep in mind... and his best friend actually text me the text that told me Josh liked someone else. then his best friend was always there for me and being so caring and nice.... so anyways then we went out to the movies as just friends, i made sure he knew that... and then tonight he said he was thinking about me a lot and couldn't get me off his mind today. then he said I like you A lot.. and he said he wishes he didn't like me since i still like josh. but then he says so you dont feel any connection between me and you? "because whenever i spend time with you there is no where i'd rather be." so then i had to tell him the truth of course... that i did not see him as more than just friends because he is best friends with Josh. I feel horrible though.. but i didn't want to lead him on.. because i know how much that hurts. but do you think this will ruin our good friendship? what should i do? any advice

He knew the answers to his questions even as he asked them. I admire you for telling him the truth. It was kind of you in the long run. It hurt him, but it was the truth. Anything else would have hurt him more. Even if you did have feelings, right now would have been a bad time for you because you are still nursing your own ache.
Hopefully you will keep your friendship. I would try to keep it if I were you. He may be hurt for a while, but hopefully he will come around. And if he was only interested in you romantically, you are better off having blocked it now. Good luck.

Well, its your fault for making the association that just because he's Josh's friend..he can be more than that too! you cant know if you like him. Your STILL in love with Josh obviously. Tell him you need to get over Josh first before you can see him as more than just his firend.
also, Josh broke your heart.. this guy was here to pick up the pieces! Do you want this friend to feel the same way you do? if you dont like him, explain again tommorrow you just didnt want to lead him on..but you still think he's cool and want to be friends. and later if you can trust in him more, you should tell him so too.

Don't be delusional. No guy will hang out with you because they are interested in your personality or charming wit. Guys only hang out with girls because they want to get into their pants. If you think I'm wrong, ask your friend if he wants to have sex with you. If he says no, he is gay. So, you have nothing to worry about because you didn't have any real friendship with him to begin with. He was just hanging out with you because he wants to bone you.
