what im looking for is open file, save as mid, save. nothing high tech about ranges and mixing or anything. just simple basic stuff.

ok im not looking for single instrument based software. what im looking for is something that i can use to turn any of my actual rock or country songs (guitar, bass, drums, and vocals) that are in mp3, wma, or wav format into a midi file because thats what they play as and are downloaded through my phone as and im tired of having to pay for them. i want to be able to save money buy just converting the music i already have on cd's and on my pc. understand?

You won't find it.
.mid or midi doesn't support full audio.
It isn't even a wave sampling format.
It is like trying to convert a guitar into a drum solo.

Is .mid same as .midi??
intelliscore only supports mp3, wma to .midi conversion..
dunno if it really helps

there's no simple way since there isn't any freeware mp3 to mid, only wav to mid. so if you want you have to convert mp3 to wav first then to mid.
